3. Not Affiliated with Valve
SteamReport.net is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Valve Corporation, Steam, Counter-Strike 2, or any game publisher. Steam, the Steam logo, Counter-Strike, and related marks are trademarks of Valve Corporation. All other trademarks are property of their respective owners.
4. Acceptable Use
When using SteamReport.net, you agree to:
- Report honestly — only submit reports for genuine incidents you have witnessed or experienced
- Be accurate — provide correct Steam identifiers and truthful descriptions
- Not abuse the system — do not submit false, malicious, or repeated reports against the same player without cause
- Not harass others — do not use the Site to target, bully, or coordinate harassment against any individual
- Not automate — do not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Site without permission
- Not exploit — do not attempt to access restricted areas, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with the Site's operation
5. Report Submissions
5.1 Permanence
Reports submitted through SteamReport.net are permanent and cannot be edited or deleted after submission. Ensure your report is accurate and complete before submitting.
5.2 No Guarantee of Action
Submitting a report does not guarantee that any action will be taken against the reported player. Reports are forwarded to Steam's moderation system, but enforcement decisions are made by Valve at their sole discretion.
5.3 Prohibited Report Content
Reports must not contain:
- Personal information about any individual (real names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
- Hate speech, discriminatory language, or threats
- Spam, advertising, or irrelevant content
- Illegal content of any kind
5.4 Protected Profiles
Some profiles are marked as protected to prevent abuse. Protected profiles include Valve employees, professional players, and notable community members. Reports against protected profiles may be restricted.
6. Rate Limiting
The Site implements rate limiting to prevent abuse. Excessive or automated requests may result in temporary restrictions. Normal, good-faith usage will not be affected.
7. Intellectual Property
The SteamReport.net name, design, code, and content are the property of SteamReport.net's operators. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Site's design, code, or functionality without permission.
Player data displayed on the Site (names, avatars, statistics) is sourced from third-party APIs (Steam, Leetify, Faceit) and remains the property of their respective owners.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
SteamReport.net is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Accuracy or completeness of player data, statistics, or ban information
- Availability or uptime of the Site or its API integrations
- That reports will result in any specific action by Valve or any other party
- That the Site is free from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
Player data is sourced from third-party APIs and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data from Steam, Leetify, Faceit, or any other external source.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SteamReport.net and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
